Please complete and submit the vendor application form, with appropriate fees as soon as possible. Commercial vendor booths are assigned on a first come first served basis beginning with booths 4 through 12. There are 18 vendor booths available. South Dakota non-profit organization tables are assigned on a first come first served bases beginning with table A. There are 10 non-profit tables available.

$125 - Curtained 8' X 10' booth with skirted table

Two conference registrations for staff (includes meals)

Gated and secure booths after conference hours

Two hours of scheduled vendor time

Listing in the conference program and on the conference website

If you will have more than two staff working your vendor display, you are asked to register each additional staff member as a conference attendee. Please include the appropriate registration fee with the vendor fee.

$50 - Skirted 6' table

Two conference registrations for staff (includes meals)

Secure area after conference hours

Two hours of scheduled vendor time

Listing in the conference program and on the conference website

Door Prizes and Sponsorship:
  • The South Dakota Council for the Social Studies is seeking sponsorship for the Tuesday evening, June 3 reception. If your organization would like to host or cohost this event please contact Roger Wolff. Appropriate recognition of your organization will be made.

 

  • If your organization would like to offer door prizes during the conference, you are asked to indicate that commitment on the registration form. Door prizes will be displayed during the conference with donor information shown. Door prizes will be made during the last session of the conference on June 4.

 

Additional Information:
  • Display set up will take place Monday evening, June 2 between 4:00 and 9:00 P.M. or Tuesday morning between 6:30 and 8:00 A.M. Please specify on the registration form the time you intend to setup.
  • Vendors are requested to not dismantle their displays until noon, 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 4.
  • Special questions or requests are to be directed to Roger Wolff.
  • Please include on the registration form any additional information you feel necessary to convey that will assist us in providing you with a successful display and experience.
  • Please e-mail a logo and a description of your vendor display (150 words or less) that you would like posted on the conference website and or included in the program. This information should be e-mailed to: rogerwolff@vyn.midco.net
  • Vendors may register as conference attendees and receive the Holiday Inn conference rate.

If you are not currently a member of the National Council for the Social Studies you are encouraged to join its membership.   As the national voice for social studies education and professional educators, it conveys the interests and concerns of its membership to policy makers at both national and local levels.   The benefits of membership offer a unified voice for social studies education and assistance in teaching through resource publications, educational opportunities, and conferences.   Membership in NCSS offers an opportunity for collaboration and communication with other organizations and insights into the functioning of state and national social studies councils.
